Building Toward 2026

We’ve expanded into a new Chicago workspace for engineering, testing, and production preparation. Our Peoria facility remains active for hands-on development and validation. The additional space gives us more room for the work needed to move from prototypes toward production.

Testing remains a substantial part of that effort. We’re running durability cycles, refining control tuning, and putting components through extended simulations of real-world use. We’re also strengthening the burn-in process used to check units before they leave the facility. These steps are intended to help us identify problems earlier and make the behavior of each system more consistent.

Alongside that work, we’re refining the exterior shell and production finish. Durability, everyday usability, and ease of maintenance all influence the design. The way a device is packaged matters to the person wearing it and to the people who will service it.

We’re preparing an announcement about the production hardware configuration intended for 2026 deliveries. It will cover the structural architecture, production components, actuation and control, and the changes from earlier prototypes. At this stage, the focus is on completing the work that connects the development hardware to a repeatable production process.

Access is part of that preparation. Keeping pricing accessible remains a priority, and we’re continuing rollout planning and clinical coordination. Onboarding needs attention alongside manufacturing so that receiving the device and beginning to use it are considered together.

Our plan remains to launch in 2026. Between now and then, the priorities are production readiness, continued validation, onboarding, and building manufacturing capacity responsibly. We know people are waiting to use what we’re developing. We’re working through the details that will determine their first experience with it, and we appreciate the community following that work.
